The United Kingdom Warehousing Association, or UKWA for short, have just made public their creation of the AIWA, the newly formed All Ireland Warehousing Association.
Much like the UKWA, the AIWA is open to businesses who control their own warehousing and distribution operations, but with the main focus resting on the accommodation of all companies in the Republic Of Ireland and Northern Ireland that provide logistical support services and warehousing to the demand of the supply chain.
With offices operating out of County Mayo, this new Irish venture will be linked directly with the United Kingdom Warehousing Association.
In the words of Roger Williams, the UKWA’s CEO, “The new organisation will be able to properly serve the needs of the whole of the Irish warehousing and logistics
sector.”
The announcement of this new partner organisation will see all of Ireland’s warehousing and third party storage community with a new, dedicated home-based business outlet to attend to their ever increasing needs.
