QCV Kitting Case Study
Walker Logistics partner with customers in a multitude of markets and are the chosen third party logistics provider for a number of companies operating in the cosmetic and personal care industry and as such have extensive expertise in providing a number of value added services when required.
One of these services is preparing specific stock into kits or ‘bundles’ as they’re know in the industry for QVC who have complex rules on how stock must arrive and if not complied with the customer faces it being rejected.
We were recently tasked by one of our fast growing cosmetic brands to make 3,750 ‘ 3 Piece Collection ‘ bundles for their first QVC show.
Our specialist value added team in conjunction with the regular warehouse team for this account had to;
· Over label product
· Collate 3 cosmetic pieces
· Pack in line with QVC strict packing requirements in to outer packaging
· Label
· Box and delivered to QVC Liverpool

The show was a real success and we beat our retail target which is amazing! QVC are now planning on inviting us back for another show.
Following this initial bundle set we made another 2360 sets across 17 different styles/kits which we have been drip feeding in to QVC over the past few couple of months.
